Spirituality Centre

Sister Bernice Steele, CSM has a Master of Arts in Ministry and Spirituality from Regis College, Toronto, ON. For several years she was the Pastoral/Spiritual Care Coordinator at QEH and taught Clinical Pastoral Education. As a trainee in her fifth year of a five-year certification program in Bioenergetics, Sr. Bernice is doing therapy with clients under supervision. Graduating with a Master of Education from Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario, and Master of Pastoral Studies, Loyola University, Chicago, Sister Kathleen Bolger began her career as a teacher, principal and administrator. Along the years she received certification in Personality and Human Relations (PRH), Facilitation Skills, Enneagram, Focusing and Spiritual Guidance. Since 1999 she has been engaged in the Spirituality Centre where she gives directed retreats, workshops and spiritual direction. In addition to her ministry at the Centre, Sister Kathleen is also the National Coordinator of Christian Meditation in the Atlantic Provinces.

Sister Edna Gallant graduated from Creighton University with a Master in Christian Spirituality in addition to her Master in Religious Education from Loyola University of the South, New Orleans. or the past number of years she has been active in Adult Religious Education teaching Scripture, Church History and other revenant topics. Sister Marie Cahill, csm, B.ScN, is a qualified spiritual director. Following the completion of her nursing career she prepared herself at Regis College School of Theology, Toronto, for spiritual guidance, giving workshops and retreats and other short term spiritual development studies, one of which was the Focusing Process International. Sister Marie has been working with people of varied religious traditions in the Sisters of St. Martha Spirituality Centre for fifteen years.

Sister Myrna Aylward, CSM is licensed as a PRH (Personality and Human Relations) Counselor and Educator since 1999. She is a member of PRH Edmonton, Alberta and PRH-International, France. Presently, she works full time in counseling and personal growth education in the Maritime provinces, and as a member of the PRH Edmonton Formation Team. In addition, Sr. Myrna has training in Alternative Dispute and Conflict Resolution from the Mediation Centre of Southeastern Ontario in Kingston, ON. E-mail: myrna@transforming-self.com
