At our last gathering (called a Chapter) which took place in May 2005, we renewed our call and made
a commitment to the following vision statement:

Grounded in the
spirituality of St. Martha
and reverencing God in all
creation,
we, the Sisters of St. Martha
of Prince Edward Island,
dare to risk being
prophetic.

Rekindled in our
charism,
we strive to embrace
diversity among us
as we extend
hospitality
toward all creation

At our 1997 Chapter our vision was twofold:
(A) Advocates for the Earth and its dispossessed
(B) Creative life-giving community

Every four years we, the sisters of St. Martha gather together to renew our call and discern our response to the signs of the times.
